Meet Scratch a kind, well-started 7-year-old Paint gelding with a great mind and a solid foundation. Scratch had a later start in life but is broke walk, trot, and lope under saddle and is currently learning softness, side passing, and basic lateral movements. He’s a sensitive and willing partner with a quiet disposition, making him an ideal fit for a confident rider looking to put the finishing touches on a quality horse. Scratch is respectful on the ground, easy to catch, and has been started right. While he did offer a few small bucks early on at the canter when first started, that has not been an issue as he’s progressed and gotten stronger. He continues to improve with each ride and shows no silliness or resistance when worked consistently. This gelding has the kind of brain and foundation that would really shine in a western ranch or working home. He’s soft, alert, and wants to have a job!
