We’ve owned Ivy since she was a yearling, and she’s been a joy to bring along. She’s smart, willing, and picks up new things quickly. She's ready and able, whether you’re hitting the trails, working obstacles, riding in parades, competition with drill team, or heading to a show. Ivy has a smooth, natural gait, walks on a loose rein, and carries a slow, collected lope that’s an absolute dream to ride. She neck reins, is soft in the face and throughout her body.
She’s been extensively ridden on trails, been on camping trips, competed in obstacle courses all over NY, and competed in a jumping derby. She has been shown by 4-H youth, in showmanship, western pleasure, English on the rail and over fences, drill team, and gymkhana games. She even qualified for the state fair after a strong showing at the county level.
Ivy is confident, sure-footed, traffic-safe, dog-safe, and patient. She loads easily, stands quietly, and handles new environments like a pro. She’s the total package! She has no vices and is happy living inside the barn or out on the pasture.
