Charming 9-year-old Appaloosa mare with versatile training – quality over price
For sale is a 9-year-old Appaloosa chestnut mare with a white blanket. "Milky" stands approximately 1.60 meters tall and impresses with her friendly nature, composure, and versatile training background.
Milky is reining-bred and has relevant competition experience. Additionally, she has been extensively trained in various disciplines, including calmness exercises, pole work, reining clinics, and multi-day trail rides with overnight stays at different stations. She has also gained experience in endurance riding.
In daily handling, Milky is uncomplicated and reliable. She loads easily even when alone and is regularly presented to the farrier without issues, approximately every seven weeks. In the herd, she stands out for her calmness, balance, and harmonious nature.
From April to October, Milky is mostly kept outdoors, with winter turnout in a box stall. She is familiar with group living and integrates well into herd dynamics.
Due to her interesting pedigree, Milky is also a valuable broodmare candidate:
On her sire’s side, she descends from High Jacko Lena, which traces back to the legendary High Sign Nugget, one of the most successful Appaloosa performance sires, inducted into the Appaloosa Hall of Fame.
On her dam’s side, she comes from the high-performance bloodline of Ruf Lil Martha, a successful reining mare by Lil Ruf Peppy.
This makes Milky an excellent genetic foundation for both Appaloosa and Quarter Horse breeding.
Unfortunately, due to late effects of a motorcycle accident, I am no longer able to do justice to her potential. Therefore, I am looking for a person who appreciates her qualities, enjoys her ongoing training, and can provide her with the attention and encouragement she deserves.
Milky is not simply a horse to be "sold" – I am seeking a caring, long-term home where she will be valued as a special horse. Therefore, the priority is quality over price.
The complete, custom-made tack can be included and transferred upon agreement.
Price: €18,000
A personal meeting and conversation are highly encouraged. I wish for Milky to find a home where she will continue to be supported in her versatility and appreciated as a special horse.

Da aprile a ottobre, Milky viene principalmente tenuta all’aperto, mentre in inverno in box.
