Gunsmoke, Bonanza, even more recent Spirit… all these shows had buckskins in them and there is no color more iconic or more American than a Buckskin!!! This buckskin beauty named Trashy Jak Peppy is an amazing 15.2hh, 2021 model, AQHA Reg, G-O-L-D-E-N Buckskin, gelding that looks great and rides great too! Peppy is stout enough to carry a bigger sized rider and gentle enough to carry the little ones as well! He is a horse that will adapt to his rider to meet their needs as he is super smart and very forgiving! He is safe for the whole family and guests. Peppy has been used out on the ranch in all aspect of ranch work. From roping and doctoring to sorting, he has plenty of cow sense. He has been ridden around Rodeo venues, sorted and loaded the bulls. Lights, the announcers, crowd roaring… nothing phases him! Peppy trails the roping dummy and is ready to start out of the box. Peppy has had reining training and is totally user friendly to ride as he lopes slow circles, with his head and the reins draped, it is poetry in motion. He spins circles correctly both ways and slide stops… he has the moves to go along with the good looks! If the ranch work is done and you just want to go for a relaxing trail ride… steep slopes, rocky terrain, creeks, logs, ditches… he crosses it all with ease and is never in a hurry! He will take care of a beginner is tough situations and get them back safely. Peppy has been ridden around town, through the bank drive thru, ridden on the highways even at night and is totally traffic safe. Whether you ride him daily, or leave him off over the winter, he is still the same loveable gentle horse, absolutely no meanness to this guy!
