With a barn full of horses, Rolex is my go-to. He’s that once-in-a-blue-moon kind of gelding—hard to find and even harder to let go.
This 7-year-old registered gelding stands a solid 15.1 hands and is built just the way one should be—strong bone, solid substance, and correct conformation. He’s the total package: athletic, handsome, and dependable.
Rolex has seen it all and handles every job with ease. In the arena, he lopes and trots soft, collected circles both directions and will flat-out drag his tail in the dirt when asked. He naturally carries himself low and level, making him a dream to ride whether you’re tuning him up or just enjoying a cruise around.
Out on the ranch, Rolex is no stranger to real work. He’s opened and closed gates, sorted and gathered cattle—including longhorns, and been used to doctor. He’s confident, smart, and steady under pressure.
This gelding loves the trails—alone or in a group. He crosses water, deadfall, logs, and handles rough terrain like a seasoned mountain horse. He’s also been in multiple parades, and nothing shakes him. We’ve taken him through city traffic, up and down stairs, through bank tunnels, and alongside roaring semis—he handles it all with absolute poise.
Bonus: Rolex has also been ridden English and looks sharp doing it. Versatile, broke, and forgiving, he could go in several directions from here—family horse, all-around partner, or a trusty mount for someone wanting a little of everything. He stands tied quietly, gets along with others, and is easy to catch in a stall or pasture. He loads, hauls, and settles into new places like he’s been there a hundred times.
