We are proud to introduce Traveler. Traveler is a 9 year old, 16.2hh Andalusian cross gelding. He is a total dreamboat with good looks and the best personality. He is like a real life unicorn with his long mane and tail and his shiny gray coat. What makes him a true unicorn is his sweet personality and his gentle demeanor. Children and adults alike have enjoyed riding Traveler. His good nature and calm demeanor have quickly made him a favorite in our barn.
Traveler is incredibly smart and knows how to do more than most people. He is well broke English and Western and has three smooth, adjustable gaits. He pretty much does it all - upper level dressage movements, cross country, western ranch riding, tricks, trail riding and more. He neck reins and has solid lateral movement. He would be a great option for someone looking to event, do English or Western pleasure or dressage, hunter/jumpers, trail ride, fox hunt, and more.
Traveler is super smart and knows lots of tricks. He can meet you at the mounting block, free lunge, ride bareback and/or bridleless, do a Spanish walk, side pass, bow, and smile on command. He enjoys learning new things and tries hard to please his rider. If you are looking for a fun pet that is also super athletic and fun to ride, Traveler is your guy. You will not find one with this sort of brain, disposition, and capabilities.
Traveler is well-traveled; he has visited Tractor Supply and gone through the McDonald’s drive thru (see video). He loves eating snacks and meeting new people. He is sensible in strange environments. He has had kids climb all over him and is unfazed by shenanigans. We have pulled wagons with him, thrown balls off him, and ridden him on the sidewalk. He’s a steady-eddy, consistent type. He’s always happy to join in on family fun.
On the ground, Traveler is a big sweetheart. He is good around small children, cats, dogs, goats, farm animals, and construction equipment. He picks up his feet politely and is good for bathing. He lives next to a gun range and is used to loud noises. He is snuggly but never pushy. He loves being groomed, and would be happy to hang out with you all day. He will always make you smile with his puppy dog personality and his sweet demeanor.
In the field, Traveler is easygoing in a herd. He can be turned out with others and he is good in a stall. He is good for the vet and farrier and trailers like a gentleman. He is an easygoing, no-nonsense kind of guy. He is good to be ridden every day, but also fine with having a week off - no lunging or prep needed. He is good for grooming and bathing - which is a good thing, since he has a ton of gorgeous, white hair.
Traveler is an easy keeper. He does not currently take any supplements, wears front shoes, and requires no other maintenance. He has no known vices or issues of any kind. He has great feet and a solid build.
