Turtle as we call him is a 4 yr old 14.3 hand 1/4 draft / 3/4 quarter horse that is well broke and has the prettiest color you could put on one. He rides english or western and has 3 smooth comfortable gaits and has a good stop.
Turtle rides good in and out of the arena , he picks up both his leads and rides well off leg pressure. Turtle neckreins, sidepasses and is a seasoned trail horse. He rides out alone or in a group and goes wherever you point him with no issues, he goes over logs, through water and we have taken him down the main highway into town and he doesnt mind all the traffic and commotion. We have taken Turtle to state parks for day rides and he is used to bikes and all the ppl and dogs. Turtle is athletic and loves to jump.
Turtle is fun to ride and always willing to please, we have also used him to check fences and push cattle here on the farm. He loads and unloads and also stands to be tacked, washed and stands for the farrier. Turtle does well inside and turned out in a mixed herd.
