♦️ MID-SUMMER SHOWCASE ♦️ Happening now thru MONDAY | JULY 14TH - Available EXCLUSIVELY on HorseBid's website! For more details and to register visit: www.Horsebid.com CONSIGNOR CONTACT: CM Farms 717-875-2061 LOCATION: Gap, PA BREED: Belgian/Perch-Morgan REGISTERED: No COLOR: Bay HEIGHT: 16.1 AGE: 4 GENDER: Gelding Dale is a 4-year-old, 16.1hh Belgian/Percheron-Morgan cross gelding. If you want the whole package — Dale is your guy. He rides both Western and English, and he drives! Don’t let his age fool you — this guy was born with a quiet brain. He is a complete confidence builder and an incredible leader on the trail. He acts like he’s 25 years old, confidently leading the 2- and 3-year-olds (and even some other 4-year-olds) through quite literally anything. If you’re looking for a packer for your husband or guests that you can truly trust — he was made for the job. On the trail, Dale will lead or follow. He’s mostly been a leader for us because he is truly fearless and the same dependable guy every time you pull him out. Whether you’re taking the busy road into town or heading down tight, wooded, rocky trails — he is sturdy and dependable. Semi-trucks can pass him without him blinking an eye. Bikers, hikers, loud motorcycles, flags, tarps, barking dogs — you name it, he’s not fazed. You cannot scare this guy! This handsome boy absolutely loves water. It’s rare to find a 4-year-old who’s the first to dive into a river, but Dale did just that — swam like a fish and loved every second of it! He has so much personality and brings a smile to everyone’s face. I’m not sure how he’s such a saint at such a young age, but he’s the kind of horse people dream of. He’s the same way in harness. Dale has been hooked to farm equipment, a carriage, and has driven both single and double. He’s always steady and always listening — not one to avoid work, but rather happy to be doing it with the best demeanor. He’s the type of horse you can absolutely trust for a relaxing ride — you could be blindfolded or even passed out, and he’d still get you home safely. It’s hard to put into words just how amazing he is. He will walk through fire for his rider (literally), and he’s the kind of horse most people don’t deserve. Born quiet, with a saintly attitude, he’s never taken a wrong step. In the ring, Dale has three lovely gaits both directions. He’s the perfect balance of “woah” and “go.” He’s not one you’ll constantly be kicking to keep moving, but he also won’t go faster than he’s asked. He rides English, Western, bareback, double — and he’ll even do leadline lessons. He’s carried beginner riders on a loose rein and doesn’t mind if someone gets unbalanced or makes a mistake — he just carries on without fuss. Dale isn’t just great for amateurs — he’s also a blast for more experienced riders who want to jump around or enjoy an athletic horse with a great brain. He’s been started over jumps both cross-country and in the arena. He’s phenomenal to the jump, with cute knees and solid technique. He’d absolutely excel at fox hunting or paper chases. He moves off the leg, neck reins or direct reins, and has incredible brakes with just a “woah” or a shift in your seat. He’s even dabbled in low-level dressage! Always up for an adventure, Dale has an unflappable “let’s do it” attitude. He truly has no bad habits or vices and will only get better with age. In the barn, Dale is a total sweetheart. He’s well-behaved in every setting — in turnout, in his stall, while being groomed or tacked. He’s just plain polite and was clearly raised right. He loads easily, doesn’t start drama in the pasture, and genuinely loves people. He’ll stand to be groomed and pampered, always sniffing for a treat. He loads right into the trailer with no hesitation. He wants to be everyone’s best friend and will make someone an incredible companion. We can’t keep them all, but if we could — Dale would be on that list. He’s truly a once-in-a-lifetime horse, with many good years ahead — and the best ones yet to come. I could write a novel about how special and rare he is, but I know someone will take a chance on him and won’t be disappointed. We’re proud to present such an outstanding young horse and can’t wait to see where his future takes him. Dale is UTD on Coggins, Farrier, Dentist, Shots, and Deworming. Located in Gap, PA
