This sporty gelding is a 7 year old simply stunning, chromed out, mahogany bay American Warmblood gelding (Clydesdale cross) standing at a lanky 16.1h with a correct, uphill build, sporty athleticism and a very quiet, agreeable, amateur friendly, laid back, sweet disposition. This sweetie has a dreamy canter, picks up his leads easily, and he has scope galore over jumps and he loves the trails. In my opinion, he is older lady safe but younger lady interesting (and yes, husband safe) and quiet enough for the whole family. While he is not a packer yet, he seems suitable for just about anyone due to his quiet and willing nature. He is shown us no spook no buck no lunge/prep and been a no nonsense kind of guy suitable for all rider levels.  We have taken this gelding on trail rides, cross-country schooling, and through fire/smoke and other challenges, and he has demonstrated a wonderful disposition combined with a steady temperament and oodles of athleticism. 
In a simple word, Silas is so much fun! He is a chill dude and would be just as happy to live a slower-paced life too, but if you want to gallop over fences, hill top, foxhunt, or jump a course of fences, he will also be happy to comply. He has a dreamy, smooth athletic canter that is fluid and smooth like a gazelle (only a lot slower), and he rides in a simple snaffle. We have ridden him in a halter or a bridle, english or western, and he has been the same off-property as he is at home.  He is soft in his mouth and not strong at all, and he has great transitions.  He loves the trails and he is content to meander through the woods and cross creeks.   Silas does not need to be lunged or ridden every day to maintain his composure.  I can picture him as being the ultimate foxhunting horse, hilltopper, or even guest and husband/family horse as needed or wanted or he a lovely all-arounder for an amateur rider.  Silas is also very smooth to ride and comfortable.  His WTC are lovely and easy to sit, and he picks up the correct leads very easily.  
Silas is an incredible horse with an incredible disposition and amount of try. If you've been looking for that one in a million unicorn, in my humble opinion he makes the cut.
Silas has no blemishes, and he is sound and healthy and not on maintenance.  Silas had a recent vet check prior to the auction with clean results.  He is up-to-date on dental, vaccines, coggins, deworming, and just had a fresh set of shoes put on.  Silas has no vices at all and he is easy to have around, he can live in or out and gets along well with other horses.  He has great ground manners and is wonderful to work around and is very polite, easy to catch, friendly, and a sweet mild-mannered gelding.  He does not have reg. papers currently, but his age of 7 coming 8 has been verified by both vet & dentist, and he is eligible to be registered with American Warmblood Society if his new owner wishes.  Silas comes with 1 week of free board, and he can be boarded at our farm after that time as well.  We can board for the holidays.  We can help with arranging shipping nationwide or to Canada.
