Carrie Forbes, affectionately known as "Furby," combines an excellent movement scope with an absolutely stunning dark palomino color. She was born on our farm, grew up robustly in a mixed-age herd, and is now gradually ready for further challenges. Her sire, Belvedere, a son of Belissimo, achieved a top-ten placement at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses with Stefanie Wolf and later moved to the USA, where he is trained by Nick Wagman. Wagman considers him a potential candidate for the 2028 Olympic Games in his home country. Furby's dam, Cortess, produced numerous champion foal candidates, including the state premium mare Calamity Jane v. Bonds, who placed 4th in the dressage-oriented foal class at the German Foal Championship in Lienen and qualified for the Bundeschampionat at three years old. Furby is an alert, ambitious horse with a strong sporting drive, which is why we hope to place her in competent, supportive hands. She is also highly interesting for breeding, as she passes on her lightening cream gene 50% of the time, thus enabling the breeding of Palominos and Buckskins.
