Meet Waffles 🧇- sweet enough all on his own. No syrup required.
A 4 year old, 15.3 hand Friesian x Quarter Horse red roan gelding with the looks, brain, and versatility everyone is searching for.
Waffles rides English and Western and has been extensively trail ridden by novice riders. He has spent most of his life as a dependable trail partner giving him a wonderful real-world foundation. He has been ridden in State parks, Woods, roads, traffic, dogs, wildlife, deer and everyday distractions are all part of his resume.
He is kind on the ground, easy to handle, and has extremely comfortable gaits with a beautiful trot and uphill canter. He is still continuing his formal education and learning to be more consistent in his dressage work, but he is honest, willing, and naturally athletic. His formal buttons are coming along exceptionally well, so if you want to show him in the dressage ring or eventing arena, you have all the potential. Currently jumping 2’6 courses with ease. His canter is just so lovely. Our little 8 year old rider rides him all around our farm.
Waffles went to a hunter pace and didn’t put a “hoof” wrong. This sweet gelding is a total love bug and loves to be loved on. Waffles keeps such a great rhythm he could also go into the Hunter ring or be a Fox Hunting DREAM. Waffles will absolutely thrive being someone’s amazing all around partner. You can also throw a western saddle on to hit the trails one day and the next go to the jumping arena. Waffles had been exposed to our longhorn cattle and loves to help bring them in.
Waffles will also carry a flag and is good with tarps and has gone through our entire obstacle course.
Leave him sitting for a week and Waffles comes out happy and ready to work. Honest as they come.
