For sale is a 4-year-old Hanoverian gelding by Taurus out of a Fürstenball/Wolkentanz II mare.
Theo is a tall, charming gelding standing approximately 178 cm. He impresses with his motivated work attitude, quality, and easygoing nature. Due to his size, he was deliberately backed gently and given plenty of time for his training.
Under saddle, he proves to be focused, eager to learn, and pleasant to ride. He demonstrates a high level of quality and offers excellent potential for the grand prix ring. His movement quality and work ethic make him an appealing prospect for a future competitive career.
Although he has not yet been shown in competition, he remains concentrated, calm, and uncomplicated in different environments. From our perspective, there is no reason why he cannot debut in a show ring soon.
In everyday handling, Theo is straightforward. He handles the farrier, veterinarian visits, loading, and other routine situations without issues. In the herd, he tends to be lower in rank and is easygoing with his pasture mates.
His dam line is particularly noteworthy: this year, “Viva Weltina” from this line was crowned German Bundeschampion.
At the end of his second year, Theo underwent surgical removal of chips. He also exhibits a mild laryngeal hemiplegia, which is why he is offered at a significantly reduced price. The condition is classified as Grade 1 and is not considered performance-limiting.
Standard radiographs, including the back, are available.
A video can be provided upon request.
An interesting, tall, and promising young gelding for an ambitious rider who is willing to give a young horse the time and further training it needs.
