Unfortunately, I need to find a wonderful new home for my 14-year-old gelding. Remmy is a cheerful and playful character, well-behaved in handling: hoof care, vet visits, and loading onto the trailer. He tends to get a bit stressed when alone in the trailer, but is fine when accompanied by another horse. He can go alone into the field with a confident rider (he was even placed in the Bundeschampionate for leisure horses in the past). Remmy is trained gymnastic-style on the arena, knows ground work, and is traditionally Western ridden with me—previously he was ridden English/classically. 

Remmy is easy to feed, lives in a mixed herd, and is currently the dominant leader—this is the challenge and the reason for his sale: the others are sometimes hard to feed and get nothing, while he gets too much. He has a medical history (a ligament that was successfully treated with stem cell therapy) and must not gain weight again. 

He has been back in training for six weeks and enjoys his work. He has had no health issues with me, aside from a hoof band, for which I am happy to provide more details if interested. Of course, he is regularly vaccinated, dewormed, osteopathically treated, and receives minerals. His hooves are maintained every 8 weeks. The dentist was here on November 4th. 

Remmy is not a last-minute sale and will only go to a truly suitable home. Multiple trial rides and getting to know each other are encouraged—everyone should feel comfortable, after all, he’s not a bicycle!
