Peekaboo is an 11 year old Paint gelding standing 14.1 hands high. This horses resume is as unique as his looks! He has seen a days work on the ranch, packed kids around in lessons, done lots of 4h events, summer camps, and has even gone out fox hunting! This horse is an incredible partner to have when it comes to jumping. He moves like a hunter, with the bravery of a seasoned event horse. He’s the kind of horse that you can enjoy any discipline on and be safe doing it. He’s just as happy being painted and dressed up like a unicorn as he is jumping on the cross country course, or working cattle.

In the ring, Peekaboo is straightforward and easy. He has three smooth and comfortable gaits, great brakes, and picks up both leads easily. He is broke very well both English and western. Under English tack he will ride round in the bridle, or on a loose rein. He is schooling first level dressage tests and will jump around a course. Under western tack, Peekaboo has a great neck rein, spin, nice big stop, and lopes off easily. On the cross country course, he is a blast! He is brave, honest, and enjoys being out there. He will always jump, and is happy to help his rider out of a bad spot.

On the trails, Peekaboo is a solid citizen. The kids take him out bareback in a halter and ride all over the farm. He will swim, cross streams, ride into town, and is safe in traffic. We have taken him double with the kids in the saddle to ride into town after dinner for ice cream, and he doesn’t blink an eye at a thing.

In the barn, Peekaboo is a barn favorite! He is very used to kids, dogs, and other animals running all about. He’s a good boy for all the usual barn tasks, and is a total pleasure to have around. Peekaboo lives outside in a mixed herd of mares and geldings, is easy to catch, and gets along well with others. He’s an easy keeper that has no maintenance or vices.
