✨Ciara✨ is a 4-year-old, 15.2hh Perch/QHx mare. This girl is a beauty! She’s calm, gentle, safe, and sensible. She’s the perfect in-between build—not too tall, but stocky enough to carry a variety of riders. She’s a little tank! Ciara is broke to ride western, English, and bareback. She’s incredible on the trail and in the arena! She is not your “typical mare”—she has the best attitude, genuinely loves people, and is wise beyond her years.❤️
In the ring, Ciara has a solid walk, trot, and canter in both directions. She will pick up walk-to-canter transitions, move nicely off your leg, and is adjustable at all three gaits. She’s more of a forward-thinking ride and has her own motor, making her light and easy to ride! She’s responsive to your seat and has a nice stop. She’s probably not winning any races, but if you want something that carries itself around the arena without having to kick every step, she’s the perfect one. We could see her being suitable for an amateur or intermediate beginner working with a trainer. She has an incredibly level, safe mind and isn’t one to spook at anything. She has no naughty habits under saddle and is just easy to get along with!🥰
On the trail, Ciara is a steady and reliable mount. She’s a trailblazer in every way—point her in the right direction and she’ll take care of the rest. She’ll take a dip in the river, canter through the fields, squeeze through tight wooded trails, and cross bridges and creeks, all while keeping her happy-go-lucky, drama-free attitude. She’s just as content walking on the buckle as she is keeping up a quicker pace. Ciara is such a good girl she doesn’t even mind if the geldings ride up too close or get in her personal space. She’s been desensitized to just about everything and is truly unflappable. She’s 100% traffic safe and has even been ridden alongside our busy road into town. Semi trucks? No problem. Ciara is the kind you can take out and truly enjoy—she’s stress-free and likes to have a good time. We could even see her packing the husband around for a relaxing hack with how level-headed and easy she is!
Ciara is a rose among thorns in the barn. She doesn’t have any typical mare attitude—you wouldn’t know she’s a mare if you didn’t check! She’s always happy and gentle with everyone and everything, including kids and dogs. Her personality makes her the perfect candidate for a family horse! She stands patiently for grooming, bathing, tacking up, and for the farrier and vet. She’ll stand all day for attention and cookies. She has excellent ground manners—easy to catch, lead, load, and handle in the stall. She’s a happy camper in every way, willing to please, and will make someone an incredible lifelong partner!👑
