“BamBam” is a breathtaking 4 year old, 16.1 hand gelding. BamBam has had a phenomenal upbringing, he rides English and western, works around the ranch, hacks out on the trails and he’s started in the cross country field! He puts his heart in every job and strives to give his rider 110%. The opportunities are limitless for this gelding!
Under saddle, BamBam is smooth, balanced and correct. He picks up both leads, has comfortable transitions and will take a jump with ease! He’s brave over fences and has the scope to jump higher! Bam has the confirmation, brains and versatility to excel in cross country, fox hunting, dressage, equitation etc! He is not the type of horse that needs to be in a program. Absolutely no prep - he can sit for a month and go straight to work! I have let the kids jump on and play with him in the arena - he is so patient, forgiving, and quiet minded. He would be perfect for a youth rider or adult amature working with a trainer to gain confidence and grow to the next level! He’s a saint!
If English isn’t your thing, he also rides western and will put in a honest days work on the ranch! Bam has been used to check fences, gather and move cattle and works good alongside dogs! On the trails, BamBam is as safe, reliable and confident as they come! He will cross anything you put in front of him - bridges, water, deadfall, railroad tracks, you name it! He has been to town and is traffic safe! He’s acclimated to the craziness of daily life around the farm and doesn’t mind loud noises, trucks, trailers, equiptment, ATVs/SXSs, bicycles, scooters, tarps, flags, balls, etc. He is use to kids and dogs running around the barn and pays no mind.
At home, BamBam is everyone’s favorite! He is an easy keeper with no maintenance or quirks. He will stand all day in the barn to be groomed and loved on. He is good for all things - bathing, clipping, tacking up, farrier, vet, dentist, loading, hauling and he is always the same horse off farm as he is at home! I normally keep him shod when in full work, but with coming into winter, Bam is currently barefoot. He’s got big, strong, hardy feet and gets nothing but compliments from my farrier! He is use to being turned out in a mixed herd with other geldings and mares, mules and minis - he gets along with everyone! I never have to worry about catching him - he can be at the very far end of the field and if he hears me whistle he comes galloping to the gate!
BamBam has the absolute best personality. He is so incredibly sweet and gentle, and he loves spending time with his people. He never misses an opportunity for attention as he’s always right there in your pocket! He has an “old soul” Yellow Lab demeanor that is priceless in my mind.
