Calida is a 7-year-old PRE mare seeking a loving and responsible new home. She has a solid basic education and demonstrates versatility and willingness to learn under saddle. She also shows great enthusiasm and motivation when jumping. Her friendly and uncomplicated nature makes her easy to handle, and she is comfortable around children. She enjoys hacking out and thrives on varied activities. Unfortunately, Calida sustained an injury to her superficial flexor tendon after a kick in the paddock. She will now be carefully and gradually retrained, with a slow, individually tailored approach as a fundamental requirement. A recent, detailed ultrasound examination by a tendon specialist has provided a positive prognosis for her recovery. Due to this history, Calida is offered well below her usual value. Her price will be adjusted according to her progress and the course of her rehabilitation. We are not looking for a quick sale but rather a suitable, caring home where her needs are prioritized and she has the time she requires for her continued development. We see her especially as a wonderful family and leisure horse, whose charming personality, versatility, and potential will surely bring her new owner much joy. If you are genuinely interested, we look forward to hearing from you personally. We are happy to provide more details about her injury, her training progress, and her current rehabilitation during a personal conversation.
