Switch to Western tack, and you’ll find a completely different side of him. Blaze has an excellent neck rein, a smooth turnaround, a big stop, and an easy lope departure. He’s responsive without ever being intimidating, making him equally enjoyable for beginners and experienced youth riders alike.
Outside the arena is where Blaze truly wins hearts.
The kids ride him all over the farm—often bareback in just a halter. He happily swims through ponds, crosses creeks, navigates rough terrain, strolls through town, and is completely comfortable around traffic. Loud noises, dogs running around, tractors, and everyday commotion simply don’t bother him. He’s the same dependable pony every single ride.
Back at the barn, Blaze is exactly the kind everyone hopes to own. He’s incredibly easy to catch, stands quietly for grooming, saddling, bathing, and the farrier, has wonderful ground manners, and genuinely enjoys attention.
