Kanaan is by San Cler Pearl Wishbone (Gypsy Vanner) and out of Dual Docs Princess, a sweet and athletic Quarter Pony mare who was a beloved part of our family for years. Kanaan is pending registration.
Kanaan was raised right—handled daily since birth, given consistent care, and exposed to all the sights and sounds of farm life. From a young age, she was doing obstacle work, tagging along on trail rides, and navigating the world with confidence. She ran through the woods beside her dam and our girls—nothing fazed her then, and it still doesn’t.
She’s been exposed to tractors, ATVs, bikes, dogs, kids, and everything in between. Her early experiences built a confident, curious, and adaptable pony who truly enjoys interacting with people and her environment. She loves to play and has a natural desire to learn. Both her parents are athletic, and she’s inherited their movement and mind.
*Well-Started and Versatile Under Saddle
Now confidently going under saddle in both Western and English, Kanaan is soft in the bridle, picks up both leads with ease, and has balanced, smooth gaits. She’s happy to ride out on the trail or work in the arena, always staying calm, willing, and focused. She meets her rider at their level—gentle and forgiving for beginners (under supervision), but easily steps it up for someone more advanced. She collects, moves off the leg, and carries herself beautifully.
*Ground Manners + Fun Personality
On the ground, Kanaan is a total gem. She knows fun tricks like sitting down and performing a “come get me” cue—showcasing her trainability and personality. She ties, cross-ties, ground ties, and stands patiently. No kick, bite, or bad habits. She’s been taught to face you when you enter the stall and wait politely until she’s invited to come out. Routine hoof care and deworming have always been kept up-to-date. Easy keeper who keeps her stall organized. Loads, unloads and travels with ease. She is sound and has no past injuries.

*Herd Savvy and Training-Focused
She’s currently in individual turnout to support her training, but she was raised in a well-managed herd and gets along great with other horses. Kanaan is respectful in the pasture and transitions easily between solo and group living.

Please keep in mind that she is only 3 years old and still in the early stages of her riding career. That said, she has a very kind nature, is responsive, willing, and I do trust her with young riders under appropriate supervision. She’s the type of pony who genuinely tries to please and shows a great attitude toward learning. Like many young horses, she tends to eventually meet her rider at their level—so consistency and confident guidance are important. We recommend having a trainer or experienced adult involved to help her stay on the right path. But don’t let her age scare you—she’s everything we represent her to be: kind, safe, and full of potential.
