4-jähriger Champion – Talentiertes und zuverlässiges zukünftiges Sportpony

Dakota von Glimrende VR is a talented and versatile 4-year-old pony mare, officially measured at 146 cm.

Dakota is registered as an ERP (Estonian Riding Pony) with the Estonian Sport Horse Breeders’ Society (ESHBS). The ERP is the official Estonian studbook for riding ponies, managed alongside the Estonian Sport Horse (ESH) studbook. ESHBS is a full member of the World Breeding Federation for Sport Horses (WBFSH), placing the studbook within the internationally recognised network of sport horse and pony breeding organisations.

Dakota was born and raised by the same breeder and has remained with us throughout her entire life, meaning her complete history is known from birth until today. She has had no health problems and has always been a healthy, hardy and uncomplicated pony.

She has mainly lived outside in a free-range herd environment, while also being accustomed to living in a stable whenever necessary. She is an easy keeper, maintains her weight very well and is independent and uncomplicated in everyday management. She has strong, good-quality hooves and does not normally require shoes. Shoes have only been used when needed for endurance competitions.

Despite being only four years old, Dakota has already proven herself in several disciplines. She recently won the Estonian Championship for 4-year-old ponies in show jumping and has also successfully competed in dressage and endurance.

Dakota is exceptionally sensible and safe to ride. She can also be ridden by beginners and children and has a very reliable temperament. She is confident in new environments and does not become nervous or overwhelmed when taken away from home. She is also very good in traffic and can safely be ridden alongside roads, as cars and other normal traffic do not bother her.

She is straightforward and easy to handle in all everyday situations, excellent for the farrier and vet, and travels alone in the trailer without any problems.

Although Dakota’s temperament makes her suitable even for less experienced riders, we would especially like to see her continue in sport. She has considerable natural jumping ability and talent, and we believe it would be a shame not to develop her potential further.

With her combination of jumping ability, good movement, bravery, stamina and sensible temperament, we also believe Dakota could make a particularly interesting eventing prospect. Her experience in dressage, show jumping and endurance gives her an excellent foundation for developing further in this direction.

She is an exciting prospect for an ambitious rider looking for a quality competition pony to produce for the future. Dakota combines something that is not always easy to find in a young pony: talent, versatility, bravery and a genuinely uncomplicated character.
